Get your gay breakfast here
For a quick and casual breakfast, Brian's is a safe bet--especially for the gays, who have formed a strong fan-base for this little diner. What's the draw? Perhaps it's the waitresses who call you "honey," as they have inappropriate personal conversations next to customers. Fun! The omelettes are cooked with enough cheese to stop your heart.

It’s an easy 5 minute drive from the Parliament House, popular with friendly locals and families but only 1 gay couple there on a busy Sunday morning. Parking lot is small, but there is street parking nearby. The remodel is classy, and an outdoor patio overlooks Lake Ivanhoe. The food is decent portions and NY Strip Steak tasted ok, but they can not make simple substitutions. Nora’s wine/beer shop is next door (closed on Sundays). So if you’re in the area, you might try instead Bananas Diner, which is in the gay Vi-Mi neighborhood and next to the Orlando Gay/Lesbian Center. Or just eat at Parliament House. Either way, a better chance at making new friends.

Bryans is a place the locals go. On Sunday morning it will be half rednecks and half gays. The food is good and cheap and the staff is fun and friendly. My group of friends frequent it.
