Ed Waldick has been working with bands and music since 1969! He has worked with many regional touring bands from the N.E. from back then and has toured the country with The Edgar Winter Group, right after Frankenstein became a number 1 hit along with Free Ride. This was from 1972-1975 and has done this tour over and over again up and down the east coast with bands out of Pennsylvania and Florida. Ed Waldick has worked well over 20,000 shows!!!! Remember each band is a show in itself, with what and how Ed programs and performs his lighting sets.
Ed has worked at BackStage Lounge in Gainesville as sound and lighting from 1999-2013, and then at The JAM: Gainesville from 2013 to present until it's recent closing, not only as sound, lighting, and stage manager, but as one of The JAM's founders!!!!
Ed Waldick has amassed well over 100 stage lighting fixtures, as well as (5) 1 WATT lasers (many more to come), and will be setting and playing them as his instruments on July 16th, 2016 to The Music of Pink Floyd at Woodstock Orlando. Ed says, "At this point in my life, this is NOT a job, but has become MY LIFE."
